I. Teacher Introduction

name is Chayma Erraja, Associate Professor at the School of Finance and Trade published SSCI papers related to CSR, governance, earnings management, and financial distress in China.

My current research projects, but not exclusive to, eco-innovation, circular economy practices, and their impact on corporate sustainable performance, extending institutional theory and the resource-based view.
I have previously guided undergraduate and graduate students in International Business, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG, and management theories.

 I am dedicated to supporting students’ learning and have designed courses in International Business, Sustainable Trade, and Corporate Management.

A. Papers

· Corporate Social Responsibility Rating, Corporate Governance, and Financial Distress: Evidence from China (SSCI journal, co- author).

· Corporate social responsibility, CEO characteristics, and earnings management: Evidence from China (SSCI journal, first-author).

· Ongoing 2 publications on eco-innovation, institutional pressures, and circular economy practices.

B. Teaching and Research Projects

· Research on eco-innovation as mediator and moderator in the relationship between institutional pressure and corporate sustainable performance (PhD project, principal researcher).

· Designed and taught specialized modules on International and Sustainable business SUPTECH-Environnement (2016–2018).

· Other research and teaching projects under development.

· Asia pacific journal of finance: Most cited article, published by Wiley 2025.


V. Work Reflection / Teaching Statement

I believe that education should empower students to think critically, embrace sustainability, and bridge global business with social and environmental responsibility. My goal is to inspire students not only to succeed academically but also to become responsible leaders in an interconnected world.
